🎃 October only · Book early

Halloween characters that know when to stop

Vampires, zombies, mummies, witches and a magician with fangs. Every one of them has a silly setting and a spooky setting, and we pick it from the ages you tell us. Character visits from $165; the Vampire Magician from $289.

The last two weekends of October book out first — by the start of the month the good slots are usually gone.

What the visit looks like

The running order

The one-hour character visit. The 30-minute version is the first block only.

Before

We arrive and change

The performer needs a private space to get into costume and makeup. Halloween characters take longer than our other costumes — give us about twenty minutes.

The entrance

Pitched to the room

The performer reads the youngest faces in the room before deciding how far to take it. If a child looks worried, the character gets sillier immediately.

First 30 min

Games and dancing

Themed games, a dance-along and photo opportunities. The birthday child leads.

Last 30 min

Balloons or face painting

Spooky balloon creations or Halloween face painting designs, based on availability.

Nobody gets jumped out at, nothing happens in the dark, and no child is singled out. A costumed character is a lot for a small child even when it's friendly — tell us the ages and we plan for the youngest one there, not the oldest.

Where they work

More than birthday parties

Trunk-or-treats

A crowd that moves past rather than sits down. Two roaming performers beat one stationary character here.

School & class parties

Weekday bookings, pitched to the year group. We'll keep it costume-parade friendly rather than frightening.

Store & community events

Character meet-and-greets for a promotion or a town event, with photos as the main draw.

FAQs — Halloween characters

You choose. Every character has a playful setting and a spookier one — tell us the ages and we pitch it accordingly. For under-sixes we keep it silly: no jump scares, no lunging, nothing in the dark. For a tween party the performers can take it further.
The last two weekends of October are the tightest dates in our calendar after the week before Christmas. If your date falls there, ask early — by the start of October the best slots are usually gone.
Yes. The Vampire Magician is a full comedy magic show performed in character, from $289. You can also add a second costumed performer to any package for $150.
Yes — trunk-or-treats, school parties, library events, block parties and store promotions. For a crowd that comes and goes rather than a seated group, two performers roaming works better than one.
No deposit on staffed entertainment — you pay when the performer arrives. Cash is our primary payment method; please arrange anything else with our team before the date.
