What this actually is

A comedy magic show with your child at the heart of it.

Forty-five minutes to two hours of interactive comedy magic, built so children aged three to twelve stay in one place and keep laughing — which is the whole trick.

The children aren't an audience. They're holding the props, checking the empty box, shouting the magic word wrong on purpose and getting it right on the third go. The birthday child comes up as the assistant and gets the biggest round of applause they've had all year.

The part they remember

A live bunny makes the magic feel real.

We do, and it changes the last ten minutes completely. The show stops being something the children watched and becomes something they touched.

She appears during the show. Afterwards every child gets a turn to pet her, one at a time, with the performer holding her — no crowding, no grabbing. She's used to noise and crowds, which is most of the job. A rabbit that panics at twenty shouting children is no use to anybody.

If your child has a rabbit allergy, tell us when you book. We can run the show without her, and the price doesn't change because she was never an extra — but you should know before the day rather than after.

Why parents book us twice

The hardest part is getting twenty of them to sit down.

That's the first ten minutes, and it's the bit that takes twenty-seven years to make look easy.

Good to know

The things people ring up about.

Rain doesn't cancel it

Magic is an indoor show. If the garden plan falls through we move inside and carry on. Tell us your backup room when you book.

Mixed ages are normal

Toddlers, eight-year-olds and a couple of teenagers is the usual Saturday. The performer pitches to the middle and gives the older ones a job.

Film as much as you like

Parents filming is expected, not tolerated. The bunny segment is paced so everybody gets their shot without a scrum.

Siblings and adults count

Guest counts are about balloons and face paint, not the show. Nobody's turned away — just tell us the real number so we bring enough.

Weekday slots are easier

Saturday afternoons book first. Flexible on the day or time and you'll have far more choice. Short-notice dates are worth asking about.

Schools, daycares, camps

We do these regularly, usually weekday mornings. Bigger rooms need the second performer. More for institutions →

Where we go

Staten Island is home. New Jersey is a short drive.

No travel fee to nearby towns. Further out, call — we'll tell you straight away whether we can get there rather than quoting you and cancelling later.

More activities means a different pace.

The right upgrade depends on what you want children to do after the magic.

Keep the focus on the show

The 45-minute Classic package is comedy magic and a live bunny meet-and-greet. It is a clear choice when you already have other activities planned.

Choose the Classic show

Add an individual keepsake

The one-hour package adds balloon sculptures. Give us the number of children who will want a balloon so we can discuss how that time fits your event.

Add balloons to the show

Give individual activities more help

The two-performer packages include magic, balloons, face painting and tattoos, with a bubble machine when available. Ask us to match the time and staffing to your full guest count.

Compare two-performer options

Tell us what would help your child enjoy the show.

The details that matter are often small: a shy birthday child, a shared celebration, or a room with a tricky layout.

Can the birthday child watch before joining in?

Tell us if your child prefers to watch first. Include that in your request so the performer can discuss the birthday moment with you before the event.

Can siblings share the birthday spotlight?

Mention both children’s names and ages, and tell us that it is a shared celebration. Ask how the performer can include them within the show you choose.

Should I schedule the show at the party start time?

Allow for guests arriving and settling in. Share both the party start time and the entertainment start time so the booking request is unambiguous.

Does a bigger audience change the balloon plan?

It can. Watching a show and receiving an individual balloon take different amounts of time. Tell us how many children will participate, including siblings, and ask about time or staffing if your group is above the package guidance.

Questions

The ones people actually ask.

How much space does the magician need?

About four feet by four feet, plus floor or seating for the children facing that way. A living room works. We've performed in basements, garages, backyards, classrooms and restaurant back rooms.

Is there really a live bunny?

Yes. She appears during the show and every child gets a turn to pet her afterwards, one at a time, with the performer holding her. She travels in her own carrier and is used to noise and crowds.

What age is the show for?

Best for 3 to 12. The performer reads the room — slower and more visual for three-year-olds, more banter and challenge for eight and up. Mixed ages are normal and we plan for them.

How far in advance should we book?

Weekend afternoons go first, so earlier is better. There's no deposit, so holding a date costs you nothing up front. Short-notice dates are always worth asking about, because cancellations happen.

What if a child is frightened?

It happens at most parties with toddlers. Nobody gets pulled up on stage and nobody is made to touch the bunny. Plenty of kids who hide behind a parent for the first ten minutes are front row by the end.

Are balloons included?

They start at the one-hour package. The 45-minute show is the magic and the bunny on their own. If you want balloons with the shorter show, add a balloon artist for $125.

Do you take a deposit?

No deposit on staffed entertainment. You pay when the performer arrives. Physical equipment and DIY rentals have their own rental terms, which we go over before you book.

Can we take photos and video?

As much as you like. Parents filming is normal and the performer paces the bunny segment so everyone gets their shot.

Who actually shows up?

Someone on our team. We don't subcontract to an agency directory. Our performers are background-checked and insured, and they're the same people working our events every weekend.

Do you perform at schools, daycares and camps?

Regularly. Weekday daytime slots are usually easier to get than weekend afternoons. Tell us your group size and the room and we'll tell you what works.
