This is not a look-but-don't-touch exhibit. Our handler brings 6–8 docile, captive-bred reptiles to your home, school, daycare, or park, and the kids get their hands on all of them under direct supervision.
Every show opens with the Dinosaur Connections segment. We compare a tortoise's shell to an Ankylosaurus, a bearded dragon's spikes to a Stegosaurus, and a python's hunting behavior to a theropod. It's the part where the dinosaur-obsessed kid in the room takes over the Q&A.
Then the animals come out one at a time. The handler covers each one's name, habitat, diet, and defensive adaptations, then walks it around the circle so every child can pet, touch, or hold it. The birthday child helps the handler and goes first.
The finale is our largest animal, a 6-foot ball python, for group photos. Kids who want to can drape it over their shoulders or arms while the handler holds the weight. Afterward the handler runs everyone through hand sanitizer before cake.

Rocky is the one most kids ask for. Calm, slow, and happy to sit on a shoulder or a lap for as long as you let him. Reptiles like warmth, and children are warm.
Monty is our gentle giant. At over 5 feet long, Monty is a slow-moving, sweet python who loves wrapping around arms like a soft, heavy bracelet and showing off his beautifully smooth scales.
Shelly is slow, steady, and very curious! Shelly loves walking around the circle to inspect everyone's shoes and munching on fresh green lettuce leaves fed to her by the children.
Ziggy is small, colorful, and has a naturally "smiley" face! With spotted skin and a soft, chubby tail, Ziggy is the perfect starter reptile for children who might feel a bit nervous.
Barnaby's scales feel like glass. He sticks out a bright blue tongue to smell the air, which reliably gets the biggest reaction of the show.
Clint is a color-changing marvel. With eyes that swivel independently in all directions and funny mitten-shaped feet, Clint shows kids how animals adapt to blend in and climb trees.

Give children a few things to look for during the encounter. These are conversation starters you can use around the show.
What is different about a shell, scales and the way an animal moves? Encourage children to describe what they notice before guessing what it means.
