The right address
Red Bank sits along the Navesink River. For a celebration in town, name the actual venue and room rather than using a downtown or waterfront landmark as the meeting point.
Red Bank, Shrewsbury, Fair Haven, Little Silver. Magic shows, foam parties, reptile shows, face painting, and characters, brought to your home, yard, or venue. No deposit — you pay when the performer arrives. No travel fee out here.

Red Bank parties don't always happen in a big backyard. Plenty are in apartments near downtown, in a restaurant's private room, or at a community space by the river. That works fine for us — a magic show runs off about 4x4 ft of floor and a reptile show needs even less.
Foam is the picky one. It has to be outside, with open ground, a standard outdoor outlet, and a hose connection. A lot of downtown addresses can't manage all three. Fair Haven, Little Silver, Rumson, and Shrewsbury usually can.
Parking is the other thing worth mentioning when you book. Performers arrive carrying equipment, so if your block fills up, tell us where they should pull in. No travel fee to Red Bank, the rest of the Two Rivers towns, or Middletown.
Comedy magic with audience participation and a spotlight moment for the birthday child. Needs about 4x4 ft, which is why it's the one that fits in a Red Bank apartment. Live bunny with every package; balloons come with the 1-hour package and up. Ages 3–12.
Foam cannon, music, and an attendant. Outdoors only — open ground, a standard outdoor outlet, and a hose connection. Foam gets slippery, so we ask for adult supervision and no rough play. Have towels ready.
Snakes, lizards, turtles, and bearded dragons. Every child gets to touch and hold them with the handler supervising. Indoor-friendly and needs very little room — a good fit for smaller homes.
Glitter butterflies, dragons, superheroes, whatever gets asked for. FDA-compliant paints, washes off. Figure 8–12 faces an hour per artist, so budget the time.
Full costume, in character the whole visit. Singing, games, photos. Ice princesses, mermaids, superheroes. Best for roughly ages 2 to 7.
Balloon twisting, cotton candy, popcorn, photo booths. Add them to a booked show. The machines need an outlet, which is worth checking in a rented room.

We work in living rooms, covered porches, backyards, and driveways. Older houses around here can have small front rooms — that's still enough for magic or a reptile show.
A lot of downtown parties happen in a restaurant's private room. Magic and reptile shows both fit. Check the room's time limit before you book the length of the show — that's the usual snag.
Everything but foam needs nothing from the venue — no power, no facilities. Wind is the thing to plan for near the water: it makes balloon work slower and blows foam sideways. Check permits on your end.
Schools and libraries book magic and reptile shows for assemblies and reading programs. Both fit in a classroom or a library room. Ask about group pricing.

"We hosted our daughter's 5th birthday at home in Fair Haven and hired Binx for a magic show. It was the best decision we made. The magician was professional, hilarious, and had a genuine warmth with the kids that you can't fake. My daughter was chosen to 'help' with several tricks and she was absolutely beaming. No deposit policy was very appealing, and the whole experience exceeded our expectations."
