Then he sits down, because a seated Santa is far less alarming to a three-year-old than a standing one. Children come to him at their own pace. He works through the room by name if you have sent us a list, takes a photo with each one, listens to what they want, and hands out the gifts you have provided from the sack we bring. Older kids get more banter. Toddlers get more patience. Nobody is rushed off the knee so the queue moves faster.
