Westfield is a town of deep back gardens and generous front rooms, and that shapes how a children’s party runs here. A great many Westfield birthdays happen at home rather than at a hired venue — in a back garden off a quiet street in the Gardens or Wychwood, or in a living room when the weather turns. Our setup is deliberately compact: the performer needs about a four-foot square to work in, a power outlet, and somewhere for the children to sit together.
The show itself is interactive comedy magic rather than a silent display of skill. Children are called up, given something to hold, asked to say the magic word far too loudly, and generally made part of the act. The birthday child gets the biggest role. After the magic, a live bunny comes out for a guided meet-and-greet, and on the one-hour package and above the performer twists balloon sculptures for every child who wants one.
Westfield sits about 18 miles from our base, a straight run up the Garden State Parkway. That matters for two reasons: we can usually offer a wider choice of times than an entertainer travelling from further out, and we can take late-notice bookings when a date opens up. Tell us your street address when you enquire and we will confirm timing and the full price before you commit to anything.
