The magic show runs about forty-five minutes and is interactive throughout — children come up to hold things, check things and shout the magic word louder than necessary, with the birthday child as the magician’s assistant. A live bunny appears afterwards for a guided meet-and-greet, and from the one-hour package upward the performer twists a balloon sculpture for every child who wants one.
The other thing worth knowing about in a town like this is the reptile encounter. It is a genuine hands-on session rather than a show with an animal in it: six to eight non-venomous species, an artifact touch table with shed skins, skulls, eggs and fossils, and a Junior Herpetologist certificate for every child at the end. It starts at $350, works entirely indoors, and tends to hold older children’s attention longer than anything else we do. It can be a strong choice for older children who enjoy hands-on learning.

Practical notes for a Princeton party
Reptiles need a table, not a stage
For an animal encounter we need a solid table and children seated in a semicircle where everyone can see. It uses less floor area than a magic show, which makes it a good fit for a smaller room.
University calendar weekends
Reunions, move-in and graduation weekends make traffic and parking around the centre of town considerably worse. If your party falls on one, tell us — we will simply build more travel time into the arrival.
