The Non-Negotiables
Every one of our roles is part-time and primarily on weekends, with occasional weekday gigs. To perform with Binx, every applicant — no matter the position — must:
- 🚗 Have a valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation — you'll be traveling to party sites.
- 📅 Be available on weekends (and open to some weekdays and other event dates as they come up).
- ⏰ Be 100% dependable and punctual — the show can't start without you.
- 🎉 Be comfortable working around crowds of excited kids and families.
- ✅ Be willing to pass a standard background check.

All positions are part-time. Funny is encouraged; flaky is not.
Do You Think You're Funny? 🎩
The vibe: you can command a room full of sugar-fueled seven-year-olds and still keep the adults chuckling in the back.
We're looking for charismatic, quick-on-their-feet performers to lead interactive magic shows and entertainment segments. You don't need to pull a rabbit out of an actual hat — but you do need stage presence, comedic timing, and the ability to roll with it when a kid swears they saw how you did the trick.
What you'll do
- Perform live, interactive magic shows
- Keep crowds of all ages engaged and laughing
- Manage your own prop setup and breakdown
- Bring high-energy fun from start to finish
What we're looking for
- Performance experience (magic, theater, or stand-up is a big plus)
- Great improvisational skills and stage presence
- Able to lift and transport equipment boxes
Are You a Princess? 👑
The vibe: grace, charm, and the ability to stay in character even when asked 40 hyper-specific questions about your fictional kingdom.
We need royal talent to bring iconic storybook characters to life. If you love singing, interacting directly with kids, and wearing a crown without letting it go to your head, this one's for you.
What you'll do
- Attend parties in full regal attire (open-face character work)
- Pose for photos and lead games and sing-alongs
- Make every birthday child feel like absolute royalty
What we're looking for
- Strong interactive and acting ability
- A clear singing voice (or strong performance skills)
- Comfort performing in costume with an exposed face
- Immaculate attendance habits
Can You Draw a Straight Line on a Wiggling Target? 🎨
The vibe: fast, creative, and remarkably patient under pressure.
We're hiring talented visual artists to transform kids into superheroes, tigers, and glittery butterflies in record time. You don't need a fine-arts degree — but you do need speed, a clean setup, and a friendly personality.
What you'll do
- Provide high-quality face painting and basic body art
- Work birthday parties, corporate events, and festivals
- Keep a tidy, hygienic, welcoming station
What we're looking for
- A portfolio or examples of past work
- Knowledge of skin-safe cosmetic hygiene
- Speed and extreme patience with energetic kids
Sweat, Smiles & High-Fives! 🐻
The vibe: big energy, zero spoken words, maximum enthusiasm.
Can you bring a massive costume to life using pure physical comedy and grand gestures? We need energetic, outgoing individuals to step inside full-body mascot suits and make popular characters unforgettable.
What you'll do
- High-five, dance, and pose for photos in costume
- Bring non-stop excitement to events of every size
- Animate a character using expressive, non-verbal fun

- Great non-verbal animation and expressiveness
